"In the name of research and innovation, we have been using whole grape clusters, that we crush and destem ourselves, for years. For our newest collaboration, Alex Liberati, owner and head brewer of Liberati Brewery, allowed us to pick his brain and palate, resulting in a collaborative beer using a percentage of unfermented grape juice put into blended spontaneous stock, a method neither brewery has explored. Thunderbolt is rich with oak tannins and vanilla, along with white flower and pear notes, resulting in a slightly acidic but funky base."
