Style: Fruited Lambic
This lambic is blended with Schaarbeekse cherries hand-picked by over 50 families around Brussels as well as the same proportion of Ferme Framboos raspberries and macerated for 266 days in a fresh 1,000 liter charred/toasted barrel before being blended with young lambic and bottled in 750ml bottles. Cherries and raspberries were added in a proportion of 1 kilogram cherries per 1 liter of lambic. The final fruit intensity is 278 grams of fruit per liter. All of the Series VIII Speling van het Lot bottles featured lambic with Schaarbeekse cherries macerated in charred/toasted barrels. This particular bottling was limited to 2,431 bottles.
